G Power unveils BMW M3 Tornado RS with 720 hp

The German tuning company G-Power unveils their latest update to the BMW M3 Tornado. Back in May, the tuner introduced a 635 horsepower version of the limited-edition BMW M3 GTS.

Now, the company follows up with another major power upgrade. The BMW M3 Tornado RS outputs 720 horsepower, turning it into one of the most powerful M3s ever created.

The car features the G Power SK III “Sporty Drive” Supercharger System, which increases the V8′s displacement by 15 percent, from 4.0 to 4.6-litres due to the modified crankshaft, a custom cooling system that helps keep temperature at optimum levels, and a carbon fiber airbox which is 4 kg lighter than the standard one.

M3 Tornado RS comes equipped with a titanium exhaust system featuring free-flowing 100 cpsi metallic catalytic converters, resulting new performance figures from all these modifications: impressive 720 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque.

With the significant power upgrade, the G Power M3 Tornado RS runs 0 to 100 km/h (62 mph) in 3.7 seconds, and from 0 to 200 Km/h (124 mph) in 9.7 seconds. Top speed is clocked at 330 Km/h.

In the visual department, M3 Tornado RS sports a series of upgrades showcased through different carbon fiber aerodynamics parts. The car sits on 20 inch forged wheels wrapped in Michelin Super Sport tires. A high performance braking system with 6- and 4-piston callipers plus 396/380mm rotors ensure an optimal braking distance.

No word on the final price for the upgrades, but based on their parts catalog, the G Power’s supercharger system itself costs 35,000 euros.
