European tuner Kelleners begins work on the new BMW N20B20 turbocharged four-cylinder engine. The 2.0 liter unit offers 184 and 245 horsepower in standard form. The lower-powered unit is used in the 120i, X1 20i, X3 20i, 520i and Z4 sDrive20i models.
The more powerful powerplant is used under the hood of the 528i and new 328i models.
Kelleners ups the power output to 220, respectively 294 horsepower for the more powerful four-banger. The torque was also increased from 270 Nm to 324 Nm, and 350 Nm to 420 Nm.
The 294 hp and 420 Nm brings the performance of the 2.0 liter four-cylinder close to the 3.0 liter TwinPower turbocharged inline six-cylinder.
The impressive power upgrade is implemented with performance tuning modules that are connected to the original BMW connectors of BMW. Kelleners has not released the pricing for the power upgrades.
